Technical Supervisor

As Technical Supervisor, you will play a key role within our production environment. You will combine hands-on operational work with coordinating and organisational responsibilities.

Your role

• You will manage a technical team of 10 staff members and coach them in their day-to-day operations
• You will spend 70% of your time on the shop floor and actively support technical interventions
• You will undertake 30% administrative and organisational tasks, such as planning and follow-up
• You will be responsible for the technical management of the production department
• You ensure the optimal operation of the installations and production processes
• You focus on preventive maintenance and continuous optimisation
• You collaborate with external partners on improvement and investment projects
• You oversee the water treatment process and monitor the quality of our treated wastewater — a responsibility with a real environmental impact

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience
• Both experienced candidates and motivated recent graduates are welcome (training provided)
• You are a true people manager and know how to motivate and guide a team
• Hands-on approach: you enjoy rolling up your sleeves
• The variety between mechanical and electrical work is an asset for you: no two days are the same, and that is exactly what motivates you
• You are the go-to person for complex faults: you analyse quickly, identify the cause and resolve it – even under time pressure.
• You carry out the prepared projects yourself and monitor the technical quality of the execution.
• You work safely and set a good example: you adhere to safety procedures and ensure your team does too.
• Solution-oriented and strong organisational skills
• You can set priorities and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
• You are extremely flexible: varying working hours and occasional weekend work are no obstacle for you.
• Experience with or an interest in water treatment is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Dutch and French
